Today, we’re taking a major step forward: we’ve raised €14 million in funding to scale our AI-powered platform across Europe.
This Series A round was led by Partech, with the support of investors who share our vision of the future of work: Brighteye Ventures, Athos Capital, Wayra, and Kfund, through its Leadwind fund, backed by Telefónica, BBVA, Catalana Occidente, and other major corporations.
But for us, this round is more than capital. It’s fuel to accelerate a mission that’s already underway.

Our purpose is simple: to help companies innovate faster by connecting them with top-tier freelance tech talent, in minutes. Our platform, powered by artificial intelligence, acts like an operating system for high-performance freelancers.
Today, over 450 companies, from startups to global corporations like Microsoft, Inditex, Cabify, and Telefónica, trust us to quickly build hybrid teams. Why? Because we’re not just another freelance marketplace.
We’ve built an infrastructure that not only finds the best-fit professionals for every project, but also automatically verifies over 1,000 data points on technical expertise, soft skills, and cultural fit.

Spain as Our Launchpad for Europe
We were born in Spain, and that’s where we proved our model. In fact, Spain has the second highest proportion of tech freelancers in the world, right after the U.S. Our community has already surpassed 10,000 freelancers, and it continues to grow.
This ecosystem has allowed us to focus on quality over volume. We work with the best professionals on the market, and that’s what’s positioning Shakers as the go-to partner for companies that are serious about innovation.
Now it’s time to scale. More than 30% of our revenue already comes from outside Spain, and we’re ready to become the key infrastructure for the freelance economy across Europe.

Over the past year, we’ve grown our revenue by 6x, with 60% coming from recurring sources. Our goal is to maintain an ambitious growth pace and orchestrate over 10,000 hybrid projects by 2027.
